Sabse pehle chawal ko saaf karke dugne pani me chawal ko lagbhag 30 minutes tak bhigo de. Ek katori me kishmish ko bhi pani me bhigo de. Ab ek patila Gas par rakhkar isme ghee dal de. Jab ghee garam ho jaye to usme laung, elaichi, dalchini dalkar ache se bhun le.

Thodi der bad hi isme chawal aur pani ko patile me dal de. Ab patile ko dhakkan se dhak de jisse iski bhaap bahar na nikal paye. Jab Chawal thode se gal jaye to usme kesar (Saffron) aur chini dalkar ache se hila kar thodi der ke liye dhak de. Jab chawal puri tarhe se gal jaye to usme badam, kishmish aur kaju bhi mila de.
